Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Turkology Studies (CAKUJTS) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, and open-access electronic journal, first published in 2021 as the official publication of the Çankırı Karatekin University Institute of Turcology.
Since 2022, it has been published biannually (June and December).
The journal accepts original research articles—primarily those addressing topics related to Turkish language and literature, Turkish culture and history, Turkish music and art, Turkish-Islamic thought, and religion, science, and culture in Turkic geographies, particularly in relation to the national and spiritual heritage of the Turkic world. In addition, translation and compilation articles may also be considered for publication.
The publication languages of Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Turkology Studies are Turkish, Turkic dialects, and English.
Submissions to the journal can only be made via the DergiPark system.
Before uploading, all submissions must be reviewed carefully for compliance with the journal’s writing guidelines and for Turkish language accuracy. Articles that do not meet the formatting and language standards will not be considered for review.
The journal uses the APA citation style for all submissions.
