Our aim in this study was to investigate the relationship of body awareness with mood, quality of life, and physical activity. 378 adults aged 18-30 years were included in the study. The demographic and physical characteristics of the participants were recorded in the form created by the evaluators. Body awareness was evaluated with the Body Awareness Questionnaire, Mood status was evaluated with the Beck Depression Scale, Short Form-36 was used to determine the quality of life, and physical activity level was evaluated with the Long Form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. No difference was observed between body awareness score and physical activity level (p>0.05). A negative correlation was found between the participants' body awareness and their depression score (p=0.003). At the same time, a positive correlation was found between body awareness and physical function (p=0.020), energy/vitality (p=0.002) and general health perception (p=0.006), which are sub-parameters of quality of life. As a result, it was concluded that individuals with high body awareness had a higher quality of life and less mood disorders.
