Bireysel Sporlar ile Raket ve Takım Sporlarında Reaktif Çeviklik ve Planlı Yön Değiştirme Becerilerinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı bireysel, takım ve raket sporlarında reaktif çeviklik (RÇ) ve planlı yön değiştirme (PYD) becerilerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Çalışmaya 18-25 yaş aralığında aktif bir şekilde spor yapan 7 farklı branştan toplam seksen erkek sporcu katılmıştır. Katılımcıların RÇ becerilerinin belirlenmesi için universal reactive agility (UA-RA) testi uygulanırken, PYD becerisinin belirlenmesi için UA-RA protokolünün dönüş alanları bilinen şekli ile ölçülmüştür. Branş içindeki sporcuların PYD ve RÇ değerlerinin karşılaştırılması için bağımsız değişken t testi kullanılmıştır. Her iki testin sonucunun gruplar arasında karşılaştırılması amacıyla ANOVA testinden yararlanılmıştır. Testler arasında bulunan ilişkinin saptanmasında Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda branşlara göre PYD becerileri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmazken, sırasıyla hem futbolcuların hem de basketbolcuların RÇ değerlerinin (12.46±1.48 sn - 12,93±1,08 sn karşın 14.29±1.75, 15.27±1.58, 14.14±1.31 sn, p<0.05) karate, tekvando, güreş, sporcularına göre daha kısa olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tüm branşlarda PYD becerisinin anlamlı olarak RÇ değerlerinden daha kısa olduğu (p<0,001), ayrıca tüm sporcuların PYD ve RÇ becerileri arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir (r=0,432, p<0,05). Sonuç olarak, futbol ve basketbol branşlarında çeviklik çalışmalarının bilişsel aktiviteleri de kapsayan RÇ aktivitelerini içermesi tavsiye edilmektedir. Ayrıca RÇ çalışmalarının ve ölçüm metotlarının sporun özelliklerini yansıtan içeriklere sahip olması önerilmektedir.

Comparison of Reactive Agility and Preplanned Change of Direction in Individual and Team Sports

Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare reactive agility (RA) and pre-planned change of direction (PYD) skills in individual, team and racquet sports. A total of eighty male athletes from 7 different branches, actively engaged in sports between the ages of 18-25, participated in the study. The universal reactive agility UA-RA test was used to determine the RA skills of the participants, while the return areas of the UA-RA protocol were measured in the usual way to determine the PYD skills. The independent variable t-test was used to compare the PYD and RA values of the athletes in the branch. ANOVA test was used to compare the results of the test between the groups. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the tests. At the end of the study, there was no significant difference between PYD skills according to branches, but the RA values of both football players and basketball players (respectively 12.46±1.48 sec - 12.93±1.08 sec vs. 14.29±1.75sec, 15.27±1.58 sec, 14.14±1.31 sec, p< 0.05) was found to be shorter than karate, taekwondo, wrestling athletes. It was determined that PYD skill values were significantly shorter than RA values in all branches (p<0.001), and there was a moderately significant positive correlation between PYD and RA skill values of all athletes (r=.432, p<.05). As a result, it is recommended that agility training in football and basketball branches include RA activities, including cognitive activities. It is also recommended that RA activity and measurement methods have content that reflects the characteristics of the sport.
