Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research (ÇEDAR) Publishing Principles
1. International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research is a peer-reviewed and scientific international journal that started publishing in 2017. Original research articles in the fields of Turkish education and educational research, primarily in the field of children's literature, are accepted to the journal.
2. International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research aims to contribute to the field of children's literature and education research by publishing original research articles in the fields of children's literature and education research, revealing the current situation, drawing attention to problems and offering solutions.
3. Articles sent to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research must have a Turkish and English abstract of at least 250-300 words, five-word keyword(s), and Turkish and English article titles. In addition, articles accepted for publication in the journal must contain a structured English abstract of at least 500 words under the title "Structured Abstract". The English abstract should consist of "Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussions" sections and should be located at the end of the articles.
4. The article file must be prepared in accordance with the "International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research Journal Template".
5. Studies sent to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research must be edited in accordance with APA 6 writing rules.
6. All legal responsibilities regarding the content of the articles published in the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research belong to the authors.
7. International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research has the right to make corrections to the studies uploaded to the system and to publish or not publish the articles.
The publication languages of the 8th International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research are Turkish and English. Studies written in other languages may be published by the decision of the Editorial Board when deemed necessary and appropriate.
9. Studies submitted to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research must not have been published before or sent to a different journal for evaluation.
10. Electronic uploading of the works to be sent to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research via DergiPark is considered as an application for publication. No copyright fee is paid for articles.
11. In the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research, no fee is charged for the transactions carried out during the publication process.
12. A double-blind referee system is applied in the evaluation of studies sent to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research. Studies deemed suitable for evaluation are sent to at least two referees in the relevant field. If one of the referee evaluation reports is positive and the other is negative, the study may be sent to a third referee or the Editorial Board may review the referee reports and make the final decision.
13. Studies submitted to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research must not contain any plagiarism. If plagiarized works are detected, the Editorship of the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research has the right not to publish the work.
14. While the studies to be sent to the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research are uploaded to the system, Turnitin, Plagium, iThenticate etc. The plagiarism report obtained as a result of scanning by similarity scanning programs and showing that there is a maximum of 20% similarity, including the bibliography, must also be uploaded to the system. Journal Policy
In accordance with its publishing policy, the International Journal of Children's Literature and Educational Research publishes the articles sent to the journal free of charge. All published articles are available for open access. Open Access (OA) journals are scientific journals that reach readers online without legal or technical obstacles. Open Access (OA) offers unlimited access and reuse. Therefore, open access creates a network of reaching the widest possible audience, sharing all works and reconstructing them.
Publication Language
Turkish and English studies are accepted for the journal. At the end of Turkish articles, there should be an English Summary section of 500 - 800 words. The Summary section should be created under the headings “Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion”.
Publication Frequency
International Journal of Children's Literature and Education Researches has started continuous publication.
Price Policy
No fee is charged from the author or institution under any name.
International Journal of Childrens Literature and Education Researches (CHEDAR) is completely free and does not charge any fee for any process such as article evaluation and publication.
