Article Evaluation Process

Evaluation Process

1. A single-blind review process is used by the journal.

2. Manuscripts submitted to the journal for publication are reviewed and pre-evaluated by the Managing Editor in accordance with the following criteria:
• Compliance with the scope and subject areas of the journal
• Compliance with the journal's template rules, ethical principles and publication policies
• The similarity ratio is calculated using iThenticate, with a maximum allowable limit of 25%.
• Compliance with the scientific standards of the journal
• Language of publication (quality of abstract, adequacy of keywords, accuracy of the structured abstract translation, etc.)

3. After the preliminary evaluation process is completed, an appropriate Area Editor is assigned. Articles reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor may be rejected without additional review, or they may be forwarded to two subject-matter experts for evaluation and, if necessary, a third referee. The final decision on the manuscripts submitted to the journal is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

4. Initially, only the abstracts are sent to potential reviewers. Upon acceptance to review, the full manuscript is provided. Reviewers have a maximum of 45 days to complete their evaluations using the journal’s standard review form. Reviewers may give one of the following four recommendations:
• Accept as is (Accepted)
• Accept with minor revisions (subject to verification by the referee or editorial board)
• Major revisions required (re-evaluation is necessary after revisions)
• Reject (Not suitable for publication)
If revisions are requested, the manuscript is returned to the authors for correction. Authors must submit a detailed response report outlining the changes made, along with the revised manuscript. The revised version is then re-evaluated by the original reviewers.

5. The research is published after the refereeing process is complete and approved by the Editorial Board. The study must receive approval of at least two referees in order to be published.

6. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision by considering the opinions and suggestions of the Area Editor and referees and officially notifies the authors of the decision.
