Aim and Scope
Connectist: Istanbul University Journal of Communication Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal published biannually (June and December) since 1992. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and short notes (commentaries) in English and Turkish that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in communication sciences.
The journal aims to provide an inclusive and interdisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, communication professionals, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality scientific knowledge and engage in critical debates across diverse domains of communication. Connectist encourages contributions that address contemporary theoretical discussions, methodological developments, and empirical research within both disciplinary and interdisciplinary frameworks.

Since 2022, the journal has actively supported scholarly exchange through international virtual conferences and partnerships with global academic institutions, aiming to enhance international authorship and research networks.
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.
