Connectist: Istanbul University Journal of Communication Sciences

Connectist: Istanbul University Journal of Communication Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed, scholarly and international journal that has been published biannually in June and December since 1992 The articles submitted for publication in the journal must be scientific and original works in English or Turkish.

Connectist publishes articles both from national and international communities, and focuses on systems, theories, methods, and applications in communication. Research articles and reviews covering all aspects of communication are published to provide a platform for scientific knowledge exchange between academic researchers, communication professionals and policymakers. Contributions from anthropology, philosophy, history, political science, psychology, and all other fields are welcome, provided they offer relevant and insightful commentary on communication.

The target audience of the journal includes academics, researchers, professionals, students, and relevant academic and professional organisations.

Istanbul University covers all expenses for the journal. No article processing charges or submission fees are required for submitted or accepted articles. A rigorous double-blind peer-review evaluation is implemented in the journal.
