Boşanma Kaygısı Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın kapsamında, literatürde daha önce fazla yer almayan boşanma kaygısı kavramı açıklanmış ve söz konusu yapının ortaya konulmasına yardımcı olan Boşanma Kaygısı Ölçeği’nin geliştirilmesi, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Boşanma kaygısı kavramı, bireylerin evlilik ilişkilerinin sona ermesi durumunda ortaya çıkacak değişiklikler ve belirsizlikler karşısında hissettikleri kaygı olarak tanımlanabilir. Araştırma kapsamında iki farklı çalışma grubuna ulaşılmıştır. Birinci çalışma grubu 430 kişiden oluşmuş ve elde edilen verilerle yapı geçerliği çalışmaları yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgular, üç faktörden oluşan ve varyansın %70’ini açıklayan bir yapının ortaya çıktığını göstermiştir. Ortaya çıkan yapının geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarını yürütmek amacıyla, 390 kişiden oluşan ikinci çalışma grubundan veri toplanmıştır. Yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, yapıya ilişkin modelin iyi ve mükemmel uyum gösterdiğini ortaya koymaktadır (χ²/sd = 3.25; GFI = 0.88; AGFI = 0.84; NNFI = 0.96; NFI = 0.96; CFI = 0.97; RMSEA = 0.07). DFA bulgularına ek olarak, ölçeğe ilişkin yakınsak ve ıraksak geçerlik hesaplamaları da yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, ölçeğin hem yakınsak hem de ıraksak geçerlik koşullarını karşıladığını göstermektedir. Elde edilen tüm bulgular, geliştirilen ölçeğin istatistiksel olarak geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

Developing the Divorce Anxiety Scale: Validity and Reliability Study

Abstract

Within the scope of this study, the concept of divorce anxiety, which has not been mentioned much in the literature before, was explained and the Divorce Anxiety Scale developed to help reveal this construct, was subjected to validity and reliability analyses. The concept of divorce anxiety can be defined as the anxiety that individuals feel about the changes and uncertainties that may occur at the end of their marital relationship. Two different study groups were reached within the scope of the research. The first study group consisted of 430 individuals and structural validity studies were conducted with the data obtained. The findings revealed a three-factor structure that accounted for 70% of the explained variance. For the validity and reliability studies of the emerging structure, data were collected from the second study group consisting of 390 individuals. The findings of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) revealed that the model related to the construct showed good and excellent fit (qs/df=3.25; GFI=0.88; AGFI=0.84; NNFI=0.96; NFI=0.96; CFI=0.97; RMSEA=0.07). In addition to the CFA findings, convergent and divergent validity calculations related to the scale were also conducted. The findings demonstrated that the scale meets both convergent and divergent validity conditions, confirming that it is a statistically valid and reliable measurement tool.
