Okul Türlerine Göre Dindarlık Düzeyi: Türkiye’de Kadınlar Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Dindarlık tartışmaları laik yaşamın toplumda boy göstermesi ile beraber yoğunlaşmış ve Türkiye’nin siyasal hareketlerinin ana damarını oluşturmuştur. Bu konu özellikle eğitim kurumları üzerinden yoğun tartışmaların yaşanmasına neden olmaktadır. Örneğin, mevcut siyasal iktidarın "dindar nesil yetiştirme" arzusu ve projesi toplumun önemli laik bir kesiminde "toplum dindarlaşıyor" kaygılarının artmasına neden olmuştur. Gerçekten kurumsal din eğitim ile dindarlık arasında mutlak bir ilişki var mıdır? Eğer etkili ise kurumsal din eğitiminin bireylerin dindarlaşması üzerinde ne kadar etkilidir? İşte bu çalışma kurumsal din eğitimiyle dindarlaşma arasındaki ilişkiyi kadınlar üzerinden ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Özellikle “imam hatip ortaokulu”, “ imam hatip liseleri” ve “ilahiyat fakülteleri”nde eğitim görmüş kadın bireyler ile bu eğitim kurumlarının dışındaki eğitim kurumlarında eğitim görmüş kişilerin dindarlık eğilimleri karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

Dindarlıkla ilgili ölçeklere bakıldığında dindarlığın çok boyutlu biçimde ele alındığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın hipotezine göre Türkiye’de dindarlık her boyutta yaşanmamaktadır. Acaba, bahsi geçen eğitim kurumlarında öğrenim görmüş bireyler dindarlıklarını hangi boyutlarda ve düzeylerde yaşamaktadırlar ve diğer eğitim kurumlarında öğrenim görmüş bireylerden ne düzeyde farklılaşmaktadırlar?

Bu araştırmanın genel evreni Türkiye’de yaşayan kadınlardır. Çalışma evreni ise Adana’da yaşayan kadınlardır. Veriler tabakalı tesadüfi örnekleme tekniğiyle tespit edilen 389 kişiden yapılandırılmış anket çalışması yaparak toplanmıştır. Sonuçlar betimsel ve ilişkisel olarak analiz edilmiştir.

Level of religiosity by School Type: A Study on Women in Turkey

Abstract

Religiosity discussions condensed together with secular / laic life emerged in the community and has been the main vein of Turkey's political movements. It causes intense discussions especially on educational institutions. For example, the desire and project of the current political power to a raise “a religious generation” leads to an increase to concerns that society is pious in an important secular / secular part of society. Is there really an absolute relationship between institutional religious education and religiosity? If effective, how effective is institutional religious education on the religiousness of individuals? This study aims to reveal on women the relationship between institutional religious education and religiosity. Particularly, the tendency of religiosity of women who were educated in Imam Hatip Middle School, Imam Hatip High Schools and Theology Faculties and those who were educated in educational institutions other than those educational institutions were evaluated comparatively.

It is seen that religiosity is dealt with multidimensionality when the religiosity scales are examined. Based on the assumption of this work it is not experienced in all dimensions of religiosity in Turkey and to what extent do individuals who study in educational institutions differ in terms of which dimensions and levels of living in other educational institutions? I wonder how the individuals who went to the mentioned educational institutions are able to live their religiousness and to what extent do they differ from individuals who went to other educational institutions?

The general universe of this research is Turkish society and women. The private universe is the women living in Adana. The data were collected from 389 people who were determined by stratified random sampling technique. The results were analysed descriptively and relationally
