Word Forms With Three Consonantal RootsIn Arabic And Their Aspect Of Structural Polysemy
Abstract
Since word forms for nouns and verbs in Arabic have more than
one structural ·meaning, they give rise to a kind of structural polysemy.
Structural polysemy of the word forms has its source in their relation to various categories and their capability to be used
in more than one grammatical category. This study discusses the
kind of structural polysemy in question for morphological structure
of the word with three consonantal roots in Arabic. From this
standpoint, it is focused here on meaning, polysemy, structural
polysemy and the structural polysemy of the word forms with
three consonantal roots and the avaible solutions of it.
