There are three different reports about the heritage (guide/s) that The Prophet left to ummah in sources of hadith and history: 1. The book of Allah 2. The book of Allah and Ahl al-Bayt 3. The book of Allah and and the Sunna of The Prophet In this article, the report that expresses "The book and Sunna left as heritage" which is one of the important supports for determining the hierarchy of evidences for Ahl al-Sunna is taken as subject of study from the earliest sources chronologically and analyzed both from al-isnad and textual point of view. The conclusion reached in this article by analyzing the isnads is that these reports expressing are weak according to classical hadith methodology. Because the content of the hadith includes the two bases of religion they cannot be counted among the subjects at which weak hadithes are allowed to be used like wisdoms of acts, al-maghazi etc. When approached the subject from textual point of view, The Prophet leaving three different things and in spite of it being recited in "The Final Sermon" that ten thousends of ashab listened to it being reported with three different contents looks problematical.
