Abstract

Bu makale, günümüzdeki bilinenlerin tersine, belirgin biçimde yaygınlaşan ve taraftar kitlesini günden güne artıran paranormal, parapsikolojik inançları ele almaktadır. Bu durum yeni gelişen ruhsal ve manevi bilinçliliğin bir yansımasıdır. Makale, yeni dinsel bilinçliliğe, sosyolojik açıdan arka planına, entelektüel ve felsefi kaynaklarına dikkat çekmektedir. Bu kaynaklar kısaca yeni dinsel hareketler olarak adlandırılmaktadır ve etkinlik ve yaygınlık açısından en önemlisi Yeni Çağ hareketidir.
