Similarity Policy

The studies submitted by the authors are subjected to similarity scanning by the Dergipark system using the software Intihal.net. Depending on the settings of the software, similarity rates may be high. At this point, assistant editors make decisions based on the quality of the similarities identified in the report rather than the similarity rate.

If the manuscripts submitted by the authors have a 10% similarity rate on plihal.net, the manuscript is re-scanned by the assistant editors using the Turnitin plagiarism scanning program. In this program, the process can continue for articles with a maximum of 10% similarity rate (excluding bibliographic materials, citations and sources with less than 7 words similarity).
