Abstract
The demand for the graduate education increasing continously today. In our coutry, while just a limited number of universities had been giving graduate education till 1992, today there has been an increase in the number of universities giving graduate education.
In this research, reasons for the students demand of graduate education and their expectations from graduate education will be tried to be determined. Also the distribution of these demands and expectations depending on the subject being studied and the differnsces between these distributions will be held.
The universe of this reserch is the master and doctorate stdents from universities of Ege and Dokuz Eylül.
It is thought that this study will be helpful for supplying data towards the analysis of the needes for the organisations that regulate the teaching, process and planning of the graduate education.
