LİSANSÜSTÜ ÖĞRENİM GÖREN ÖĞRENCİLERİN BEKLENTİLERİ ve LİSANSÜSTÜ ÖĞRENİMİ TALEP ETME GEREKÇELERİ

The demand for the graduate education increasing continously today. In our coutry, while just a limited number of universities had been giving graduate education till 1992, today there has been an increase in the number of universities giving graduate education. In this research, reasons for the students demand of graduate education and their expectations from graduate education will be tried to be determined. Also the distribution of these demands and expectations depending on the subject being studied and the differnsces between these distributions will be held. The universe of this reserch is the master and doctorate stdents from universities of Ege and Dokuz Eylül. It is thought that this study will be helpful for supplying data towards the analysis of the needes for the organisations that regulate the teaching, process and planning of the graduate education.

Lisansüstü öğrenime olan talep günümüzde artarak devam etmektedir. 1992 yılına kadar ülkemizde sınırlı sayı¬da üniversitede lisansüstü eğitim verilirken günümüzde lisansüstü eğitim veren üniversitelerin sayısının arttığı gözlenmektedir. Araştırmada, lisansüstü eğitime yönelen öğrencilerin taleplerinin nedenleri ve beklentileri belirlenmeye çalışılacak, bu talep ve beklentilerin cinsiyet ve öğrenim gördükleri alana göre dağılımı ve bu dağılımlar arasındaki farklılıklar ele alınacaktır. Araştırma evreni Dokuz Eylül ve Ege üniversitelerinde öğrenimlerini sürdüren yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda ekle edilecek bulguların, lisansüstü öğrenimi düzenleyen kurumların planlama ve öğretim sürecinin düzenlenmesinde ihtiyaç analizine yönelik çalışmalara veri sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
