Meslek Liseleri Okul Yönetimlerinin Çevik Okul ve Kriz Yönetimi Becerileri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı meslek liselerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüşleri doğrultusunda okul yönetimlerinin çevik okul ile kriz yönetimi becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Kayseri ilindeki meslek liselerinde görev yapan 250 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, Kaya ve Özdemir (2022) tarafından geliştirilen “Çevik Okul Ölçeği” ve Çalışkan (2020) tarafından geliştirilen “Kriz Yönetimi Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda okul yönetimlerinin çevik okul ve kriz yönetimi becerileri yüksek düzeyde bulunmuştur. Okul yönetimlerinin sahip oldukları çevik okul düzeyleri hem ölçek genelinde hem de esneklik, teknoloji ve hız alt boyutlarında cinsiyet, medeni durum, öğretmenlik alanı ve kıdem değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermemiştir. Kriz yönetimi beceri düzeylerinin ise cinsiyet, medeni durum ve öğretmenlik alanı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken; kıdem değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Okul yönetimlerinin çevik okul beceri düzeyleri ile kriz yönetimi beceri düzeyi puanları arasında pozitif yönlü ve yüksek düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Okul yönetimlerinin sahip olduğu çevik okul beceri düzeylerinin, kriz yönetimi beceri düzeyi puanlarının istatistiksel olarak pozitif yönde anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuca göre kriz yönetimi beceri düzeyine ilişkin toplam varyansın %66’sının okul yönetimlerinin sahip olduğu çevik okul beceri düzeyiyle açıklandığı söylenebilir.

An Examination of the Relationship Between Agile School and Crisis Management Skills of Vocational High School Administrations

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between agile school and crisis management skills of school administrations based on the opinions of teachers working in vocational high schools. The research was conducted using a relational survey model. The sample consisted of 250 teachers working in vocational high schools in the city center of Kayseri during the 2022-2023 academic year. Data were collected using the "Agile School Scale" developed by Kaya and Özdemir (2022) and the "Crisis Management Scale" developed by Çalışkan (2020). The results indicated that the agile school and crisis management skills of school administrations were at a high level. The agile school levels of school administrators did not differ significantly according to gender, marital status, teaching field, and seniority variables, both in the overall scale and in the sub-dimensions of flexibility, technology, and speed. Conversely, crisis management skill levels did not differ significantly according to gender, marital status, and teaching field variables, but showed a significant difference according to seniority. A positive and highly significant relationship was found between school administrators' agile school skill levels and their crisis management skill level scores.
