Dokuz Eylul University E-Journal of Nursing Faculty is published quarterly. The journal is published four times a year, on January, April, July and October. The article evaluation process takes an average of 6 months. A peer-reviewed journal. English and Turkish articles are accepted for publication in the journal.

The first issue of the journal was published on July 18, 2008 and we would like to thank our esteemed academicians who took part in its establishment; Prof. Dr. Zuhal Bahar, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Beşer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saniye Çimen, Asst.Prof. Dr. Şeyda Özbıçakçı, Reserch Asst. This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

All manuscripts submitted to the Dokuz Eylül University E-Journal of Nursing Faculty are first evaluated by the editorial board in terms of compliance with the journal's publication policies.

Publication Ethics:
Studies submitted to the journal for publication must not have been previously published in a journal, accepted for publication, and evaluated.
Studies published abroad can be sent to the journal for evaluation by obtaining written permission from the editor of the published journal.
Studies presented at the congress or symposium should be mentioned in the cover letter.
All research submitted for publication in the journal must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki, Guidelines for the Care of Laboratory Animals, COPE and ICMJE.
Articles should include a statement that research and publication ethics are complied with.
In the submitted studies, it should be stated that informed consent was obtained from the participants.
It should be noted that informed consent was obtained from the persons in primary responsibility on behalf of individuals (children, comatose patients, etc.)
If any financial support has been provided to the submitted research, the authors should explain whether they have a relationship of interest or not, and what kind of relationship they have with the institutions providing this support.
Ethical, scientific, legal, etc. compliance with the rules is the responsibility of the authors.
Applications of articles that are under evaluation in another journal are not accepted.
The author/authors accept that the article has not been applied for evaluation in another journal at the application stage, otherwise, all responsibility belongs to the author/authors. The journal reserves the right to take necessary official actions.
Authors have to fill in the "Copyright Transfer" form and upload it to the system while uploading the article.
Also; If the responsible author of the article is informed three times about the technical correction and writing rules and the requested corrections are not made, the article is removed from the evaluation process and this issue is conveyed to the author.
Authors are given 4 weeks for minor and major referee suggestions.
Relevant actions are taken in line with the following standard letters:

 We have received the article (For all articles uploaded to the journal system)
 Technical correction
 Letter to referees
 A letter to the referees and authors to remind them about their deadlines.
 Decision letter (accept/reject)
 Thank you letter

The author/authors are not informed about the number of publications of the accepted article,
The order of publication of accepted articles is in order of acceptance,
The final version of the accepted article is sent to the responsible author for approval before it is published as a pdf template.
