Luteryen-Katolik Diyaloğu: Aklanma Doktrini Ortak Bildirisi

Abstract

Hıristiyanlık tarihi ayrılık hikâyeleri ile doludur. Bu ayrılıkları gidermek için çeşitli kiliseler arasında birtakım diyalog faaliyetleri gerçekleşmiştir. Özellikle 19. yüzyılda bu çerçevede yeni bir canlanma yaşanmış ve 20. yüzyılda da bu tür girişimler artarak devam etmiştir. Roma Katolik Kilisesi başlangıçta bu tür çalışmalara karşı çoğunlukla mesafeli bir tutum takınmıştır. Ancak II. Vatikan Konsili’nden sonra Roma Kilisesi de ökümenik diyalog faaliyetlerine aktif bir şekilde katılmaya başlamıştır. Bu çerçevede Roma Katolik Kilisesi ile Luteryen Kiliseler arasında bir takım diyalog çalışmaları yürütülmüş ve bu iki kilise arasındaki en önemli teolojik sorun olan “aklanma doktrini” üzerine ortak bir bildiri yayımlanmıştır. Bu çalışma, Roma Katolik Kilisesi ile Luteryen Kiliseler arasında imzalanan “Aklanma Doktrini Ortak Bildirisi’nin” nasıl bir süreç sonunda ortaya çıktığını, içeriğini ve önemini açıklamayı hedeflemektedir.
