Journal of History and Strategy

The Journal of History and Strategy is a publication of the Principles of Ataturk and Revolution History Institute at Dokuz Eylül University. As an open-access, peer-reviewed, international scientific journal, it is published biannually in March and September. The journal was established in 2024 and began its publishing activities in March 2025. It is an exclusively online publication. The journal aims to provide a historical perspective on political, military, social, economic, and legal issues concerning Turkiye today. Only articles written in English and Turkish are accepted.
Research and review articles submitted to the journal are sent to expert reviewers upon approval by the Editorial Board. A double-blind peer review process is applied during this stage. In addition to research and review articles, translations and book reviews are also included. If specified in the accompanying note, papers presented at scientific conferences but not previously published may also be considered for publication.
All expenses of the journal are covered by Dokuz Eylül University. No fees are charged for submitting or publishing articles in the journal.
