The Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Engineering Journal of Science and Engineering (DEUFMD) is the official peer-reviewed scientific publication of the Faculty of Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University. Published continuously since 1999, the journal adheres to Open Access policy, charging no fees to authors or readers.

To ensure high scientific quality, DEUFMD subjects all submissions to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent expert reviewers. The journal is published tri-annually (three times a year) in January, May, and September.
