Authors' Ethical Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical and experimental studies involving humans and animals across various disciplines necessitate an ethics committee's approval. These studies encompass both qualitative and quantitative research methods, involving data collection from participants through surveys, interviews, focus group studies, observations, experiments, and interview techniques.
- Utilization of humans and animals (together with their materials and data) for experimental or scientific reasons,
- Human clinical trials, - Animal research,
The user did not provide any text. Retrospective research require individual clearance from an ethical committee, as mandated by the personal data protection law. This approval must be explicitly mentioned and recorded in the paper.
The "Method" portion of the article should provide the board's name, date, and number of approval. Additionally, this information should be given on both the opening and last page of the article.
When uploading an article, it is necessary to upload the Ethics Committee Approval file together with the article file.
Furthermore, when it comes to presentations, it is essential to provide details regarding the endorsement of the informed consent/assent form within the article.

2. The article should specify whether legal or private authorization is necessary. If the study involves an application conducted at an institution, it is imperative to explicitly mention the date on which the permission was acquired from the relevant institution, along with the corresponding decision or permission number.

3. Prior consent must be sought from the owners to utilize scales, questionnaires, and images belonging to others, and this information must be explicitly mentioned in the article along with proper referencing.

4. It is necessary to ensure compliance with copyright restrictions for the use of intellectual and artistic works.

5. The acknowledgments section of the manuscript should include all sources of support for the study.

If there are no conflicts of interest or conflicts of interest related to the subject matter of the article, this declaration must be included in the manuscript. The prevalent categories of conflicts of interest encompass financial backing, educational or other varieties of sponsorship, personal or institutional connections, and affiliations.

9. Manuscripts that are submitted must not have been previously submitted to any other magazine. Upon the completion of the procedure in a particular journal and subsequent rejection of the manuscript, it is permissible to submit it to another journal for assessment. Engaging in simultaneous submission of a paper to multiple journals is considered unethical in the realm of publishing. Authors must also verify that the article has not been previously published elsewhere.

10. If an author discovers a substantial mistake or inaccuracy in their published work, they must promptly inform the journal editor or publisher and collaborate with the editor to either retract or rectify the piece.

11. When an author encounters a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her published work, he/she is obliged to notify the journal editor immediately and to cooperate with the editor to withdraw or correct the article.

12. Researchers who made major contributions to the concept, design, performance, data collection and/or analysis of a study, researchers involved in the preparation or critical revision of manuscripts, and researchers who approved the final manuscript and accepted its submission should be included as corresponding authors. Other contributors (e.g. technical support, writing and editing assistants, general contributions, etc.) should not be included in the list of authors, but their contributions should be included in the acknowledgments section.

13. If there is a need to add authors, change the order of authors, or remove authors from an article that has started the review process, an application can be made to the journal management with the approval of all authors. The journal management will review the application and notify the responsible author of the decision.
