SOLUTION OF TORSION PROBLEMS USING FINITE POINT COLLOCATION METHOD

Abstract

In this study, Poisson equation, the governing equation of the torsion problems, is solved
using FPCM (Finite Point Collocation Method) and the results are compared with the
theoretical results. The results show that, when the conditions stated in this study are
satisfied, FPCM is an effective and a trustworty method.

BURULMA PROBLEMLERİNİN SONLU NOKTA SIRALAMA YÖNTEMİ İLE ÇÖZÜMÜ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, burulma problemlerinin çözümünün genel denklemi olan Poisson
denkleminin SNSY (Sonlu nokta sıralama yöntemi) ile çözümü yapılmış ve sonuçlar analitik
sonuçlarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar göstermektedir ki, SNSY bu tür
problemlerin çözümünde makalede belirtilen koşullar sağlandığında etkili ve güvenilir bir
yöntemdir.
