Abstract

Türk tasavvuf düşüncesinin öncüsü Pîr-i Türkistân Hoca
Ahmed-i Yesevî, kendi mensubu bulunduğu tasavvufî
gelenekteki aşk edebiyatının bütün unsurlarını Dîvân-ı
Hikmet’ine büyük bir ustalıkla yansıtmıştır. Dîvân-ı
Hikmet’in en birincil teması aşktır, denebilir. Gerek
klasik edebiyattaki muhabbet ve aşk dengesini gözetmesi,
gerek vuslat-ı ilâhîyi gerçekleştirebilmek için
âbid ve zâhid tipinin temsil ettiği akıl yolu ile ârif âşık
tipinin temsilciliğini yaptığı aşk yolunu savunmadaki
aşk yönündeki tercihi, onun tam bir aşk adamı olduğunu
göstermektedir. Başta kendi kişisel aşk tecrübesinden
başlayarak o, aşkın bütün çeşitlerini ve boyutlarını, aş-
kın ve âşıkın bu dünyadaki ve âhiretteki bütün hâllerini
çok canlı sahneler hâlinde hikmetlerinde anlatmıştır

DIVINE LOVE IN AHMAD YASSAWI

Abstract

Hodja Ahmad Yassawi,
the pioneer of Turkic
mystical thought, masterly
projected all elements
of love literature that are
prevalent in the mystical
tradition that he followed
in his Diwan-e Hikmat. It
is possible to say that the
main theme of Diwan-e
Hikmat is love. It is
obvious that he was fully
a man of love. There are
certain signifi ers pointing
to this truth: That he
observed the balance
between affection and
love; that he favoured the
way of love typifi ed by
the wise lover against the
way of reason typifi ed
by the ascetic servant.
Starting right from his
own experiences of love,
he vividly explained in
his wisdoms all states of
love and the lover both
in this world and the hereafter
with all its kinds and
aspects.
