Ideas of Sheik-al-Islam Ibn Kemal about Pithiness of the Holy Qur’an

Abstract

Ibn Kemal was a versatile scholar who lived in the growth period of Ottoman Empire. He wrote many books on various sciences. He also wrote pamphlets related to the Holy Qur’an. The Holy Qur’an is both literally and spiritually miracle. It is accepted as “mental miracle” among the miracles of our Prophet Its expression style, literary aspects, provision of information from
the past and provision of information regarding technological issues
shows its pithiness. Its challenge to all humanity in terms of forming a
similar one has not been realized yet. Taking these aspects into consideration,
Ibn Kemal wrote his book “Risâle fi İ’câzi’l Qur’an”.
