KOMEDYADA DİLSEL SAPMALAR: SÖZ EYLEMLERDE UYUMSUZLUK

Öz

Dil kullanımı, çoğunlukla bilinçdışı da olsa, tercihlerden oluşur. ‘Sesbirim’denbaşlayarak ‘bağlam’a kadar uzanan tüm dilsel düzeyler, yapılabilecek seçimlerisonsuz çeşitliliğe kavuşturur. İletişimin gerçekleşmesinin yanında çözümlenebilmesine de olanak tanıyan bu dilsel tercihler sayesinde, tek bir olay birçok değişik şekilde aktarılabilir. Konuşan veya yazan kişi, dilin farklı düzeylerinde yaptığı tercihlerle metnini kendine özgü şekilde yapılandırır ve böylece o metnin nasıl anlamlandırılıp çözümleneceğini belirler. Komedya oyun metinlerinin biçemi de okuyucu/izleyicide gülmeyi doğuracak şekilde dilin farklı düzeylerinden komedya yazarıtarafından yapılan tercihlerle şekillenir. Bilhassa ‘edimbilim’ düzeyindeki iletişimilkelerinin kullanım tercihlerinde ortaya çıkan ‘dilsel sapmalar’ komedya dilinintemelini oluşturur. Bu çalışma bağlamında, edimbilimsel düzeydeki ‘söz eylemilkeleri’ ile bu ilkelerin metinlerde kullanımındaki ‘sapmalar’ ele alınacak ve busapmaların komedya metinlerinde nasıl kullanıldığı çeşitli edebiyatlardan örneklerle açıklanacaktır

LINGUISTIC DEVIATIONS IN COMEDY: INCONGRUITY IN SPEECH ACTS

Abstract

Language use, albeit mostly unconsciously, consists of ‘choices’ in all levels of language from ‘phoneme’ to ‘context’. Through these linguistic choices, whichenable ‘communication’ both to be established and to be analysed, the same eventcan be narrated in many different ways. A writer or a speaker structures his/her textthrough choices s/he makes from different levels of language, and thus s/he shapesthe way how to comprehend and analyse the text. The style of comedy plays is alsoshaped by the choices comedy writers make from different levels of language insuch a way that they generate laughter in audience. Especially ‘linguistic deviations’ which occur in choices made at the level of ‘pragmatics’ constitute thebasis for the language of comedy. Within the context of this paper, ‘speech act principles’ at pragmatic level and ‘deviations’ from these principles in texts will bediscussed, and the way how these deviations are employed in comedy texts will beexplained through several examples from various literatures
