As of 2026, language teaching-oriented submissions to Dil Dergisi must be situated within the theoretical and/or methodological interface between “language teaching” and “linguistics.” In this regard, authors are expected to present a linguistic foundation consistent with pedagogical and applied linguistic frameworks. This directive aims to bolster both the theoretical cohesion and the impact of the language teaching studies featured in the journal.
