Dil Dergisi is a double blind peer reviewed, fully open access international journal of linguistics, in publication since 1988. It publishes original research articles presenting a range of topics and theoretical approaches to language and the language faculty. Only manuscripts written in Turkish or English are accepted. Regardless of the language in which they are written, all articles are published with titles and abstracts in both Turkish and English.

The journal appears twice a year, in June and December. Every submission undergoes double blind review by at least two independent expert reviewers. Articles are published fully open access under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence and no fees of any kind are charged to authors. The journal supports the open sharing and reuse of research data.
