YABANCI DİL ÖĞRETİMİNDE KÜLTÜRLERARASI İLETİŞİMSEL EDİNÇ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, dil öğretiminde kültürlerarasılık konusunu ele almak ve bu konuyu kültürlerarası iletişimsel edinç konusu perspektifinden değerlendirmektir. Kültürlerarası iletişimsel edinç ile, hem çokuluslu alanda çalışan kuruluşlarda çalışanlara çoklu kültürlülük ve kültürlerarası beceri edindirilmeye çalışılırken hem de dil öğretiminde öğrenicilerin öğrendikleri dilde sadece dilsel değil kültürel olarak da yetkin olmaları hedeflenmektedir. Dil öğretiminde uygulanan anadil konuşucusunu taklit ettirmeye yönelik yöntemler yerine alternatif yöntemler öneren kültürlerarası iletişimsel edinç üzerinde bir çok çalışma yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmalarda, yabancı dil öğrenicisinin o dilin anadil konuşucusunu taklit etmesinden çok, o dilin ait olduğu kültürün özelliklerini öğrenmenin yabancı dil öğretiminde daha başarılı sonuçlar alınacağı ileri sürülmektedir

Abstract

The aim of this study is to point out the importance of the acquiring the intercultural features in foreign language teaching through the intercultural communicative competence frame. Within the intercultural communicative competence, it is argued that owing ability of having intercultural understanding on cultural differences among one’s own culture and the other’s makes individuals multicultural or bicultural so that they could have the intercultural competency. There are numerous studies on intercultural communicative competence which are focused on an alternative methods against the imitating the language speaker by learning the cultural features in which the foreign language’s cultural area
