LANGUAGE LEARNING STRATEGY USAGES OF ENGLISH TEACHER CANDIDATES

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the language learning strategy levels of the English teacher candidates. The article begins with various definitions of language learning strategies and classifications made by different authors. Then, the findings obtained from the administration of the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning are presented. Data analyses have been performed by means of t-test and analysis of variance techniques

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı İngilizce öğretmen adaylarının Dil Öğrenme Stratejilerini kullanım düzeylerini incelemektedir. Öncelikle dil öğrenme stratejilerinin farklı tanımları ele alınmış ve değişik yazarlar tarafından yapılan sınıflandırmalar özetlenmiştir. Daha sonra ise veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan Dil Öğrenme Stratejileri Ölçeğinin uygulanması sonucu elde edilen veriler sunulmuştur. Verilerin analizi t-testi ve varyans analizi teknikleri kullanılarak yapılmıştır
