Günümüz
Avusturya edebiyatının yaşayan isimlerinden felsefe doktoralı Fr. Ch. Zauner
çok yönlü bir yazardır. Yazdığı radyo ve tiyatro oyunları, hikaye ve roman
türündeki eserleri Avusturya kültürünün ve coğrafyasının izlerini taşır.
Dilimize 1994‘te „Ormandaki Yabancıların Sırrı“ adıyla çevrilen eser 1981
tarihinde yayınlanmıştır.

   Makalede romanın zaman ve mekan yapısı,
anlatım konumu, sunum araçları gibi anlatı unsurlarının yanında kedi-fare
motifi esas alınarak bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Söz konusu bu kavramlar metne
bağlı -içkin- yöntemin araçlarıdır. Yaygın anlamda anlatı unsurları olarak
bilinen bu kavramlarla edebiyat araştırmalarının her basamağında karşılaşmak
olasıdır.

   Çalışma, Zauner’in bu romanı hakkında
önceden buna benzer bir yayının olmaması nedeniyle ve didaktik amaçlarla kaleme
alınmıştır. İlk eseri olmasına rağmen romanın, yazarın başarısını yansıtan
önemli bir eser olduğunu düşünüyoruz.

The Reality behind the Cat and Mouse Game in the Novel “Dort Oben im Walde bei diesen Leuten“ of Fr. Ch. Zauner: Repetition of the same thing

Abstract

Fr.
Ch. Zauner, Ph.D. is a living resourceful author of the Contemporary Austrian
literature. The radio, theatre plays, short stories and novels have imprints of
the Austrian culture and geography. His novel Dort oben im Walde bei diesen
Leuten, translated into Turkish in 1994 as “Ormandaki Yabancıların Sırrı” [The
Secret of the Strangers in the Forest], was originally published in 1981.

   This paper reports a study of structure of
time and place, narration, and tools of presentation as well as the motive of
cat and mouse. These concepts are the tools of the internal method for the
study of a novel that might be encountered during every step of literary
research.

   The present article has been written for
didactic purposes no such studies have been found in the literature. Despite
being his first novel, we believe that it is an important work reflecting the
success of the author.
