SHARING ECONOMY AS AN ALTERNATIVE CONSUMING APPROACH: A CONTENT ANALYSIS OF COLLABORATIVE CONSUMPTION NETWORKS

Abstract

This study examines collaborative consumption networks in the context of sharing economy and discusses the role of web sites in spreading the collaborative consumption movements. 6 web sites which were determined by taking into account characteristics of the sub-systems examined under the collaborative consumption, were evaluated on a total of 57 criteria compiled from relevant studies and organized in accordance with the purpose of the research and web sites examined by content analysis. Findings related to web sites are discussed in the context of the development of sharing systems and subsytems in the scope of collaborative consumption. Some criteria observed in the study that the contents of the web sites examined represent sub-systems of collaborative consumption networks. In addition, there are elements about trust and prevalence criteria that are important for the development of the sharing movement, but the result shows that these elements need to be developed.

TÜKETİMDE ALTERNATİF BİR YAKLAŞIM OLARAK PAYLAŞIM EKONOMİSİ: ORTAK KULLANIM AĞLARININ İÇERİK ANALİZİ İLE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada paylaşım ekonomisi çerçevesinde ortak kullanım ağları incelenmiş, web sitelerinin ortak kullanım hareketinin yayılmasındaki rolü tartışılmıştır. Ortak kullanım hareketi kapsamında incelenen alt sistemlerin taşıdığı özellikler dikkate alınarak belirlenen toplam 6 web sitesi, konu ilgili çalışmalardan derlenen ve araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak düzenlenen toplam 57 kriter üzerinden değerlendirilmiş, web siteleri içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Web sitelerine ilişkin bulgular, ortak kullanım kapsamında ele alınan alt sistemler ve paylaşım ekonomisinin gelişimi bağlamında tartışılmıştır. Çalışmada incelenen web sitelerinde yer alan içeriklerin, ortak kullanım ağları alt sistemlerini temsil ettiği bazı kriterler gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca paylaşım hareketinin gelişmesi için önemli olan güven ve yaygınlık kriterlerine ilişkin unsurların var olduğu ancak bu unsurların geliştirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
