Plagiarism Policy

DUJOSS, maintains a strict plagiarism policy to uphold academic integrity and promote original research. Thorough checks are conducted at each stage of the publication process to ensure the authenticity of submitted manuscripts.

Plagiarism Detection Procedure:

* All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a similarity review using intihal.net by the editorial board.

* Excluding references, the similarity index should not exceed 20%. Manuscripts surpassing this limit are returned to the authors without entering peer review.

* The maximum allowed citation from a single source is 3%.

* Even if the overall similarity is low, any extensive verbatim sections detected in the manuscript will result in the work being returned to the authors.

* Editors review the similarity ratio both at the start and at the end of the peer review process.

Author Responsibilities:

* Authors are responsible for confirming the originality of their submissions.

* When requested, authors must provide a plagiarism detection report generated by the software.

* Authors must ensure that all sources are correctly cited and acknowledged.

Consequences of Violation:

* Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be excluded from the publication process.

* Repeated violations may result in a temporary ban on submitting manuscripts to the journal.

* Severe cases may be reported to the author’s institution and relevant academic authorities.

DUJOSS, strictly enforces this policy to protect the integrity and credibility of academic publications.
