Flora of Turkey is very rich for wild mushrooms. Turkey exports a high scale of mushroom to many
countries. Major exported wild mushroom species are Morchella spp., Boletus spp., Tricholoma spp., Lactarius
spp., Rhizopogon spp., Hydnum spp., Cantharellus spp., Craterellus spp., Terfezia spp. and Amanita ceaserea.
Nowadays, demand for wild mushrooms as organic product raises gradually. Certificate of organic product could
be provided for wild mushrooms picked up from the nature. Certification of wild mushrooms picking up from
the nature can give an opportunity to the producers for their joining to the high profitable organic markets and
contributed to increase the diversion of organic products in markets. These mushrooms could be accepted as
organic products if the mandatory requirements are met. In this review, informations on requirements and
conditions for organic certification process of wild mushrooms from picking up to reaching to the consumers are
given
