Ulusal İnovasyon Göstergeleri İle Ulusal Lojistik Performansı Arasındaki İlişki: AB Ülkeleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

İnovasyon yaklaşık 50 yıldır popüler olan bir konudur. Firmalar gibi ülkeler de inovasyon stratejilerini sürdürülebilir rekabet gücü için bir araç olarak kullanmaktadırlar. Ancak inovasyon stratejileri her sektör için farklı kazanımları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ulusal inovasyon göstergeleri ile ulusal lojistik performans arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi ve inovasyon göstergelerinin ülkelerin lojistik performansı üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Lojistik sektörünün ülkeler için önemi düşünüldüğünde inovasyon penceresinden lojistik performansını artırıcı yönde araştırmayı temel alan bu çalışma literatüre önemli bir katkı sağlayacaktır. Ayrıca literatürde bu konunun incelenmemiş olması da çalışmanın önemini artırmaktadır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde lojistik performansı ile inovasyon göstergeleri arasında pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuçta, insan kaynakları ve entelektüel varlıklar değişkenlerinin lojistik performans üzerindeki pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı etkisi, inovasyon politikası önerisi olarak sunulmuştur

Relation Between National Innovation Indicators and National Logistics Performance: A Research on EU Countries

Abstract

Innovation is an emerging subject nearly for 50 years. Nations use innovation strategies as a tool for sustainable competitive power just like firms do. But innovation strategies yield different advantages for business sectors. The aim of this study is determine the relation between national logistics performance and national innovation indicators and analyze the effect of national innovation indicators on logistics performance of countries. Given the importance of logistics sector for countries, this study will provide a significant contribution to literature by studying increasing measures for logistics performance from the innovation perspective. In addition, this issue, which is not examined in the literature before, also increases the importance of this study. After the analysis performed, it is found that there is a positive correlation between logistics performance and innovation metrics datasets. Finally, positive and statistically significant effect of human resources and intellectual assets on logistics performance is presented as innovation policy proposal
