ÖĞRENİLMİŞ GEREKSİNİMLERE YÖNELİK BİR ÖLÇEK GELİŞTİRME ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı bir Türk örnekleminde başarı, bağlanma, özerklik ve baskınlık/güç gereksinimlerini ölçebilecek yeni bir öğrenilmiş (manifest) gereksinim değerlendirme soru formu geliştirmektir. Daha önceden bu amaca yönelik olarak geliştirilmiş iki soru formu olmasına karşın (öğrenilmiş gereksinim soru formu –MNQ- ve gereksinim değerlendirme soru formu –NAQ-), konuya ilişkin yapılan pek çok çalışmada MNQ ile ilgili iç tutarlılık sorunlarına işaret edilmiştir. Heckert ve çalışma arkadaşları NAQ‟yu bu nedenle geliştirmişlerdir. Bu çalışma, konuya ilişkin araştırmalar dizisinin ilk iki adımını içermektedir. İlk çalışma 20‟si MNQ maddeleri, 40‟ı da Heckert ve çalışma arkadaşları tarafından önerilen toplam 60 madde ile başlamıştır. Bu soru havuzu 650 lisans öğrencisi ile sınanmıştır. Faktör analizi ve madde-toplam korelasyonlarını da içeren madde analizleri sonucunda 20 maddelik GDÖ (gereksinim değerlendirme ölçeği) yaratılmıştır. İkinci çalışmada veriler 120 lisans öğrencisinden toplanmış ve bu çalışma ile ölçeğin test-tekrar test güvenilirliği ortaya konulmuştur

A SCALE DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH ON MANIFEST NEEDS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a new manifest needs questionnaire to measure four needs; achievement, affiliation, autonomy and dominance for a Turkish sample. Although two instruments exist (Manifest Needs Questionnaire –MNQ- and Needs Assessment Questionnaire –NAQ-), numerous studies have reported problematic internal consistency of the MNQ scores. Heckert and colleagues created NAQ for this reason. This study is about the two step of the research series. The first study started with 60 items, 20 items from MNQ and 40 items proposed by Heckert and colleagues. This item-pool was administered to 650 undergraduates. Based on the factor analyses and item analyses, including item total correlation, 20 item GDÖ (Needs Assessment Scale) was created. In the second study, data collected from 120 undergraduates provided the new scale test-retest reliability
