Year 2012, Volume: 12 Özel Sayı, 21 - 28, 01.11.2012

Abstract

Today entrepreneurship is a subject that must be supported by all countries. In this context, it is very important that the university students, who are at the very beginning of their working life, have entrepreneurial intentions. In this study in the light of data that were collected with a questionnairre from 185 university students studying in sport sciences departments of the universities, the impacts of demographical factors and individual features of the students on the entrepreneurial intentions were investigated. Data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. Results indicated that while age, gender, previous job experience, and monthly income of the family differentiated the entrepreneurial intentions of students, locus of control and self efficacy had significant impacts on the entrepreneurial intentions

Year 2012, Volume: 12 Özel Sayı, 21 - 28, 01.11.2012
