One of the authors of the article titled “Social studies teachers’ extent of using out-of-school teaching environments for their lessons” published in Educational Academic Research, Issue 53 (2024), Ufuk Şimşek, was serving as the dean of the faculty and the owner of the journal at the time of submission. In order to prevent any potential conflict of interest and to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the editorial decision-making process, he did not take part in the evaluation of the manuscript.
