Bu çalışmanın amacı Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik PDR öğrencilerinin algılanan anne baba olumlu sosyal davranışları ve empatik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişki üzerinde cinsiyet değişkeninin farklılaştırıcı rolünün olup olmadığını sınamaktır Araştırmanın katılımcıları Ege bölgesinde bulunan D E Ü E Ü ve PAÜ PDR öğrencilerinden oluşan toplam 345 öğrencidir Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak öğrencilerin empatik eğilimlerini belirlemek için Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği ve algılanan olumlu sosyal davranışları ölçmek için Çocuk ve Aile Ölçeği kullanılmıştır Verilerin analizi için hiyerarşik regresyon analizi yapılmıştır Sonuçta yalnızca baba duygularını açıklama ile empatik eğilim arasındaki ilişki üzerinde cinsiyetin farklılaştırıcı rolü olduğu saptanmıştır Ancak anne baba olumlu sosyal davranışlar ile empatik eğilim arasındaki ilişkiler üzerinde cinsiyetin farklılaştırıcı rolü bulunmamıştır Sonuçlar empatik eğilim ve anne baba olumlu sosyal davranışlar açısından tartışılmıştır
