Abstract

Bu çalışma ile eğitim yöneticilerinin benimsedikleri iş değerleri incelenmiştir Eğitim yönetiminin en önemli sıkıntılarından birinin kaynağı da bu alana özgü değerlerin henüz bir sistem bütünlüğü kazanamamış olmasıdır Bu çalışma yöneticilerin sahip olduğu değerlere ve değerler sistemi içerisinde yer alan iş değerlerine vurgu yaptığı için önem taşımaktadır Böylece bu çalışma eğitim yönetiminde bu alana özgü değerler sisteminin oluşmasına katkı sağlayacaktır Araştırmanın evrenini Uşak ili sınırları içerisinde çalışmakta olan eğitim yöneticileri oluşturmaktadır Araştırmanın verileri Yücel ve Karataş tarafından geliştirilen “İş Değerleri Ölçeği” adlı veri toplama aracı ile toplanmıştır Seçilen her yönetici anket maddelerinin her birinde iş değerlerinin hangi ölçüde kendileri için önemli olduğunu belirlemişlerdir Bulgulara bakıldığında önem verilen ilk beş iş değerinin sırasıyla ahlaki duyuşsal doyum kişisel gelişim bilgi ve araştırma yeterlilik güvenlik ve iş garantisi olduğu görülmektedir En az önem verilen ilk beş iş değeri ise bedensel aktivite rekabet güç karara katılım ve para değerleridir
