Bulgular: Küçük işletme çalışanları ve esnafların %20,5’i “salgın başladığında endişeliydim, halen öyle hissediyorum” demiştir.

The evaluation of the COVID-19 pandemic by the tradesmen who are the actors of the urban trade in Manisa: A study on the impact on quality of life, concerns and vaccine hesitations
Abstract
Aim: The aim of this study, to support the field leg of the struggle, is to determine the perceptions of the small business workers and the tradesmen operating in the city center of Manisa about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their quality of life, and their anxiety levels and the sources of their concerns, and to determine the vaccine hesitations and its relationships variables while the epidemic process continues.
Materials And Methods: The research is a analytic cross-sectional type study. The research sample was calculated in the Epi Info 2000 program. Volunteers from small business employees and tradesmen operating in Manisa city center were included in the research, using convenience sampling and snowball sampling techniques in stratified business lines. “Personal Information Form and COVID-19 Pandemic Concerns”, “The COVID-19–Impact on Quality of Life (COV19-QoLTR) scale” and “Vaccination Hesitancy Scale in Pandemics”. were used in the research. Normality test, parametric and non-parametric tests were used to analyze the data.
Results: 20.5% of small business employees and tradesmen said, "I was worried when the epidemic started, and I still feel that way." In Manisa, the perceived impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life of small business employees and tradesmen is high, their concerns partially continue, and their distrust of the vaccine is at a moderate level.
Conclusion: For small business workers and tradespeople, the COVID-19 pandemic is difficult and complex in many ways. It is recommended that informative messages be given based on theory and model, which do not include language barriers regarding vaccine hesitancy.
