Author Guidelines

Papers to be submitted to Academia Education Research Journal should be prepared using the “Article Template” below. Click here to access the article template.

A4 Portrait, margins (Top: 3, Bottom: 1, Left: 2, Right: 2).

Font Family
Palatino Linotype, article title 12 point, main headings and text 11 point. Each paper should consist of the following main headings:

Title
The title of the article should clearly reflect its content and be comprehensive. The first letter of each word should be capitalized, except for conjunctions.

Abstract
The abstract should clearly and concisely reflect the purpose, scope, methodology, results, and original value of the study.

Keywords
At least 3 and up to 5 keywords that reflect the integrity of the study should be determined.

Introduction
The scientific counterpart of the study topic, its importance, research problem and objectives, and theoretical framework should be detailed in the introduction section.

Methodology
The research design, population/sample/study group, data collection tools, validity and reliability, data analysis, and ethical committee approval for the research should be detailed in the methodology section.

Findings
The findings obtained in the research should be explained with relevant tables, figures, graphs, or images in a manner that supports the purpose and problem of the study and preserves its integrity.

Discussion, Conclusions, and Recommendations
In light of the importance of the research, the findings should be discussed in relation to the literature and the authors' comments. The main ideas that emerge from the discussions should be explained in the conclusions section. Recommendations should be made in line with the discussion and conclusions of the study. It should also include recommendations for future studies and applications in the field that will contribute to the literature.

Acknowledgments
Acknowledgments should be made to individuals or institutions that have made small contributions to the research.

References
The reference list should be prepared in accordance with APA 6 citation guidelines.

Ethics Committee Approval
In our journal, approval from the relevant committee is required for all studies that require ethics committee approval. Surveys, experiments, observations, clinical and animal studies, and research involving personal data are subject to ethics committee approval. This approval should be clearly stated in the article text. Studies without ethical approval will not be considered for review. Scientific research involving humans and animals must be conducted in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration and ARRIVE guidelines and must obtain approval from the relevant ethics committee. Studies without ethics committee approval will not be considered for review in our journal.

Author Contribution Rates/Conflict of Interest
In studies with multiple authors, the contribution rates and conflict of interest statements of the authors must be submitted to our journal at the time of submission.

Use of Artificial Intelligence
In studies submitted to our journal, the use of artificial intelligence in processes that do not affect the originality of the article, such as literature review or language control, is acceptable. However, the use of artificial intelligence must be carried out within the framework of ethical rules and must not be used for unethical purposes such as fabricating data or manipulation.
For studies involving the use of artificial intelligence, it is mandatory to provide information about this situation to our journal during the article submission process. All responsibility regarding the use of artificial intelligence lies with the authors themselves.

NOTE: In studies derived from postgraduate theses, information about the thesis (thesis title, year of completion, university name, advisor, and student names) must be provided during the article submission process. In studies derived from postgraduate theses, the first author and the author with the highest contribution must be a student.
