He was born in 1971 in Devrek, Zonguldak. He completed his primary and secondary education in Gökçebey and his high school education in Devrek. He entered the GÜGEF Music Education Department in 1988 and graduated in 1992. That same year, he passed the Master's degree exam offered by the GÜGEF Music Education Department of the GÜGEF Institute of Science and Technology and completed his Master's degree in 1995. He also passed the doctoral exam offered by the same institute in 1995 in the Music Education Department and completed his doctoral studies in 2001.
After teaching music at various secondary schools for a while, he passed the Research Assistant exam offered by the GÜGEF Music Education Department in 1996. He was promoted to Lecturer in the same department in 1998. In 2006, he received his doctorate in Music Theory and was appointed associate professor in the same year, and full professor in 2011.
Albuz, whose research, studies, articles, and papers in the field of music education have been published, as well as works in music books by both himself and other authors, continues to participate in concert events, and many of the pieces in the chamber are performed in concert programs.
Albuz, who has taught viola, musical hearing, reading, writing, harmony, counterpoint, accompaniment, piano accompaniment, and piano at various times in the Music Education Department of the GÜGEF Fine Arts Education Department, has also taught piano lessons. Currently, undergraduate courses include Viola and Piano, while graduate courses include Viola, Piano-Based Composition and Accompaniment Styles within the Context of Educational Music, Program Development in Music Education, and Polyphonic Approaches in Turkish Music. These are also ongoing.

Born on January 21, 1975, Aytaj Elkhan Rahimova began her musical education at the
Bulbul Specialized Music School in 1982, graduated with honors in 1993 and
subsequently pursued her studies in the Department of Musicology at the Baku Music
Academy, where she earned her bachelor’s degree with distinction in 1997.
Continuing her academic pursuit, she completed her master’s degree with honors in the same
department and began teaching in 1999 as a lecturer in the Department of Music
History in 2000. 
In 2003, she defended her dissertation on "The Meykhana Genre in Azerbaijani Music", earning the PhD degree in Art Studies from the Academy in 2004. The same year, she was appointed as a senior lecturer and was subsequently awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2007. Throughout her tenure, she has delivered courses on harmony, solfeggio, and specialized theoretical subjects, mentoring numerous doctoral candidates. Her public lectures and academic contributions have been widely recognized by her peers.

A prolific researcher, Dr.Rahimova has actively participated in national and international conferences and symposia, presenting extensively on Azerbaijani folk music and its artistic connections. In 2015, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled "Artistic Connections in Traditional Oral Azerbaijani Folk Music", and in 2016, the Supreme Attestation Commission Under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan conferred upon her the degree of Doctor of Sciences in Art Studies.

Her scholarly contributions include over 60 published articles in local and international academic journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, she is the author of approximately 10 methodological recommendations and textbooks, as well as several monographs, including "The Meykhana Genre in Azerbaijani Music", "Azerbaijani Folk Music in the Context of Artistic Culture", and "Research Aspects of Azerbaijani Folk Music".

Dr.Rahimova continues to make significant contributions to the study and advancement of Azerbaijani musicology, shaping the next generation of scholars and musicians through her research and teaching.
