In this study, it is aimed to determine the level of job insecurity of contracted employees working in independent sports federations and contribute to other studies to be done in order to improve working conditions. It was carried out by using survey method with 287 employees working in independent sports federations. In this study, Job Security Scale developed by Baird, Zelin II and Marxen (1998) was used in order to determine the job security of the participants. While analyzing the data, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) package statistics program was used. 50.5% of our research group is male and 49,9% are female. Approximately half of these participants (47,4%) are in the 30-39 age group and (48,1%) are undergraduate graduates. There was a 32% significant relationship between the job insecurity and the performance of the participants. It will contribute to the performance of providing job security for contract workers working in independent sports federations.
