Foreign trade activities are very important in terms of the development of national economies, the balance of payments and industrial structuring. In addition to the fact that export activities and export-supporting and export-encouraging measures and practices provide foreign currency inflow to the country, its effects on the growth of the country's economies due to their contribution to the direct or indirect development of the industrial sector are among the main topics of the economy and international trade areas. This study aims to examine the relationship between import and export and economic growth in the Marmara Region of Turkey. In this context, the Pedroni Cointegration test was used in our study, in which the 2002-2018 period was discussed. According to our analysis results, the relationship between export-import and economic growth has been determined. These results show that foreign trade in the region contributes significantly to the country's economic growth.
