İş Sağlığı Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği Türkçe Formunun Sağlık Bilimleri Öğrencilerinde Geçerlik ve Güvenirliği

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Türkçe 12 maddelik İş Sağlığı Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği’nin (İSOÖ) sağlık bilimleri lisans öğrencilerinde geçerlik ve güvenirliğini değerlendirmeyi amaçladı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Metodolojik psikometrik çalışmaya 343 sağlık bilimleri öğrencisi dahil edildi. Test–tekrar test güvenirliği, başlangıç (T1) ve 7. gün tekrar ölçüm (T2) eşleşmiş verisi bulunan 303 öğrenci üzerinde ICC(3,1) ile değerlendirildi. İç tutarlılık Cronbach alfa ile incelendi. Yapı geçerliği doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile, yakınsak geçerlik Avrupa Sağlık Okuryazarlığı Anketi (HLS19-Q12) ile korelasyon analizi kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 21.03±2.22 yıl olup %66.2’si kadındı. İSOÖ’nün iç tutarlılığı toplam puan için yüksek (α=0.907), bilgi/beceri alt boyutu için iyi (α=0.852) ve istek/sorumluluk alt boyutu için kabul edilebilirdi (α=0.741). Test–tekrar test güvenirliği toplam puan için iyi düzeydeydi (ICC=0.847); alt boyutlarda ICC değerleri 0.682–0.701 aralığındaydı. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi iki faktörlü yapıyı doğruladı ve model uyum indeksleri kabul edilebilir/iyi düzeydeydi (CFI=0.96, TLI=0.95, RMSEA=0.05, SRMR=0.05). HLS19-Q12 ile korelasyonlar anlamlıydı (p<0.001). Tartışma: İSOÖ Türkçe formu, sağlık bilimleri öğrencilerinde geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracıdır. Bu doğrulanmış ölçek, klinik uygulama ve araştırmalarda iş sağlığı okuryazarlığını değerlendirmek ve Türkçe konuşan sağlık bilimleri öğrencileri için hedefe yönelik eğitim/önleyici stratejiler geliştirmek amacıyla etkili biçimde kullanılabilir.

Validity and Reliability of the Turkish Version of the Occupational Health Literacy Scale Among Health Sciences Students

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Turkish 12-item Occupational Health Literacy Scale (OHLS) among undergraduate health sciences students. Materials and Methods: A methodological psychometric design was used with 343 undergraduate health sciences students. Test–retest reliability was assessed over a 7-day interval using ICC(3,1) in participants with matched baseline (T1)–retest (T2) data (n=303). Internal consistency was examined using Cronbach’s alpha. Construct validity was evaluated via confirmatory factor analysis, and convergent validity was examined using correlations with HLS19-Q12. Results: The mean age was 21.03±2.22 years and 66.2% of participants were female. Internal consistency was high for the total score (α=0.907), good for the Knowledge/skills subscale (α=0.852), and acceptable for the Willingness/responsibility subscale (α=0.741). Test–retest reliability was good for the total score (ICC=0.847), with subscale ICCs ranging from 0.682 to 0.701. CFA supported a two-factor structure with acceptable-to-good model fit (CFI=0.96, TLI=0.95, RMSEA=0.05, SRMR=0.05). Correlations with HLS19-Q12 were significant (p<0.001). Discussion: The Turkish OHLS is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing occupational health literacy in undergraduate health sciences students. This validated questionnaire can be effectively used in clinical practice and research to assess occupational health literacy and to inform targeted educational and preventive strategies for Turkish-speaking health sciences students.
