Martin Heidegger’de “Mekan” Düşüncesi: Hermeneutik-Fenomenolojik Bir Yaklaşım

Abstract

Bu makale, mekanı geometrik bir yayılım olarak gören Kartezyen düşüncenin tersine, insanın yer ile olan ilişkisini anlamada bütüncül bir yaklaşım benimseyen Alman düşünür Martin Heidegger (1889-1976)'nın mekana hermeneutik-fenomenolojik olarak yaklaşımını açımlamaktadır. Mekanı tanımlamadan önce, onu anlamanın gerekliliğine inanan Heidegger, "dünya-içinde-olmak" düşüncesi ile insanı ve onun dünyasını varoluşunun ayrılmaz bir bütünü olarak anlatmaktadır. Mekanı saf yap olarak görme eğilimini dönüştürerek, onu insanın dünya-içinde-olma durumunun temel boyutu olarak düşünen Heidegger, bu dünya içindeki "önümüzde-hazır-varlık" ve "elaltında-kullanıma-hazır-varlık" ayrımı ile onun Dasein'in ilgisine bağlı olduğunu düşünür. Bu durumuyla mekan, bir etkileşim ve deneyim yeridir ve insanın yer ile olan ilişkisini anlamamızı sağlamaktadır. Mimari ve çevre tasarım araştırmalarında Martin Heidegger in "dünya-içinde-olma" düşüncesine dayanan hermeneutik-fenomenoloji, insanların farkında olmadan içinde varolduğu bu gündelik yaşam dünyasını anlamaya götüren bir yol oluşturmaktadır.

THE NOTION OF SPACE IN MARTIN HEIDEGGER: A HERMENEUTIC-PHENOMENOLOGICAL APPROACH

Abstract

Contrary to the Cartesian thinking of space as a geometrical extension, this article presents the hermeneutic-phenomenological approach of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger to space on understanding the man and place relationship in a holistic way. Through thinking of understanding space prior to defining it, believes deeply in the existence of man and his world as an inseperable whole. By deconstructing the dogma of thinking of space rather as a dimension of the man s condition of being-in-the-world than as a pure container, Heidegger rifting being as ready-to-hand and present-at-handthat it depends on the interest of Dasein. Having these potentials as a place of interaction and experience, space suspends a thinking leading to an understanding the relationship between man and place.
