Genel Hatlarıyla Cha-No-Yu

Abstract

Cha-no-yu’nun sözcük anlamı “çay için sıcak su”dur. Asıl kastedilen ise Japon çay seremonisidir. Geleneksel Japon kültürünün temsilcilerinden birinin cha-no-yu olduğu, chano-yu’nun özellikleri kavranmadan Japon kültürünün anlaşılamayacağı iddia edilmektedir. Bu noktada, Zen Budizmi, ikebana, wabi-sabi vb. temel kültür öğelerini içeren cha-no-yu incelendiğinde, geleneksel Japon kültürünün de genel hatları belirlenmiş olacaktır

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CHA-NO-YU

Abstract

Cha-no-yu meaning literally “hot water for tea” implies Japanese tea ceremony. As one of the representatives of the traditional Japanese, Cha-no-yu containing Zen Buddhism, ikebana, wabi-sabi etc., is considered a must to understand general points of the Japanese culture
