Founder of the University of Georgia, President of the University since 2015. Full professor of History at the UG School of Humanities. Director of Tamaz Beradze Institute of Georgian Studies since 2022. PhD in History, Professor. Her interest focusses on Georgia, South Caucasia, historical period of antiquties, and the Middle Ages of the Near East. Dr. Sanadze defended two dissertation. The author of more than 70 scientific research, including monographs, course materials, atlases, articles in Georgian, Russian and English languages.

Giuli Alasania graduated in 1969 from the Faculty of Oriental Studies (Department of the History of Turkey) at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. At the same institution, he defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation in history in 1974 and his Doctoral dissertation in 1987. From 1990 to 2005, he held the academic position of professor at the Georgian Technical University. Since 2004, he has been a founder of the University of Georgia; from 2004 to 2013 he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the same university, and since 2014 he has been its President. He also holds the academic position of professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Since 2009, he has been a member of the World Academy of Art and Science. In 2011, he was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor by the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and by Odlar Yurdu University. In 2012, he became an Honorary Doctor of the Ziya Bunyadov Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. From 2000 to 2011, he was a member of the Board of the Eurasian Dialogue Platform Foundation, and from 2012 to 2016 he was a member of the Nizami Ganjavi Foundation. From 2003 to 2005, he served as Director of Research at the “Center for the Study of Transnational Crime and Corruption,” founded by Professor Louise Shelley at George Washington University.
He has delivered lectures at Yale University (1994), the University of Pisa (2009), Harvard University (2010), the Free University of Berlin (2010), and the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. In 2004, in Istanbul (Turkey), he was awarded by the Turkish Language Association for his contribution to Turkology. In 2007, he was named a Peace Ambassador.

Irina Belyaeva is a Doctor of Philology, full professor, professor in the Department of the History of Russian Literature (Lomonosov Moscow State University); a leading research at the Research Laboratory "Rossica. Russian Literature in the World Cultural Context" at the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

She graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1988. Her PhD dissertation (1995), and her doctoral dissertation (2006) were defended at Moscow State University.
Her research interests include the history of 19th-century Russian literature, the Russian novel, the works of I.S. Turgenev and I.A. Goncharov, and comparative literary studies.

She serves on the editorial boards of the journals Slavica Wratislaviensia, Vestnik of the State Humanitarian-Technological University, Vestnik of the Moscow City Pedagogical University (Series: Philology. Language Theory. Language Education), and Russian Belles-lettres.  She has supervised 9 PhD candidates. As a visiting professor, she has taught courses on the Russian novel and Russian literature at the Lithuanian University of Education (Vilnius, Lithuania), the University of Wroclaw (Wroclaw, Poland), and Lanzhou University (Lanzhou, China).

She is the author of over 160 scholarly works, including monographs on the works of Turgenev and Goncharov, and a laureate of the I. A. Goncharov International Literary Prize (2017).

01. 02. 1987 tarihinde Trabzon’un Of ilçesinde dünyaya geldi. 2005-2009 yılları arasında Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde Lisans eğitimi aldı. 2012 senesi Haziran ayında tamamladığı İbn Sînâ Felsefesinde Mizaç Kavramı ve Nefs İle Olan İlişkisi başlıklı tezi ile Yüksek Lisans ve 2018 senesi Haziran ayında tamamladığı Farabi’de Temel Erdemler başlıklı tezi ile de Doktora derecesi elde etti. 2016 yılının ilk dokuz ayını Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde bulunan Yale Üniversitesi’nde misafir araştırmacı olarak geçirdi. 2019 yılında Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi’nde İslam Felsefesi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğretim üyesi olarak göreve başladı. Halen aynı fakültede çalışmalarını Doçent unvanı ile sürdüren İbrahim Aksu’nun akademik ve kültürel nitelikte farklı yayınları bulunmaktadır.

Tea Meshvelishvili is an Associate Professor in the Department of Oriental Studies at the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Georgia. She is also a research fellow at the Tamaz Beradze Institute of Georgian Studies. She graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specializing in Turkish language and literature. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia’s School of Social Sciences. She received a grant from the U.S. Department of State, through which she completed a certified research methods course at George Mason University. She participated in the Winter School of Turkology for Doctoral Students in Ankara and the Summer School of Ottoman Paleography at the University of Vienna. She defended her doctoral dissertation in Near Eastern History at the University of Georgia and holds a PhD in History. Within the framework of a research project, she worked as a visiting scholar at the Department of History at the Black Sea Technical University (Trabzon).

Hacer Babazade (Hajar Babazadeh), çağdaş sanat ve felsefe alanlarında çalışmalar yürüten bir sanat yazarı, sanatçı ve akademisyendir. Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi'nde Dr. Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır.
Sanat eğitimine İran’da başlayan Babazade, Tahran İslami Azad Üniversitesi Resim Bölümü’nden mezun olmuş, ardından Tahran Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde yüksek lisans yaparak sanat araştırmaları ve uygulamaları alanında uzmanlaşmıştır. Ernst Cassirer’in sembolik formlar felsefesi üzerine yazdığı teziyle bu alanda derinleşmiştir. Akademik kariyerine Türkiye’de devam etmiş, Atatürk Üniversitesi Sanat Tarihi Bölümü’nde doktorasını İran çağdaş sanatı üzerine tamamlamıştır. Ayrıca, Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi Temel Sanat ve Eğitimi Bölümü’nde ikinci yüksek lisans programına devam etmiştir.
Akademik makaleleri çağdaş sanat ve sanat felsefesi üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Sanatsal üretimleri multidisipliner ve araştırma odaklı olup, resim ve sanat tarihi alanlarındaki akademik altyapısı sayesinde teorik bir çerçeveye sahiptir. Çalışmalarında dil felsefesi, dil oyunları ve sosyal politika gibi konuları ele almakta, bireysel deneyimlerini sanat pratiğiyle ilişkilendirmektedir.

Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nda öğretmen ve yönetici (2000-2008), Erzincan Üniversitesinde araştırma görevlisi ve öğretim üyesi olarak çalıştı (2008-2012). 2012 yılından itibaren Atatürk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Tarih Bölümü Yeniçağ Tarihi Anabilim Dalında öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır.
