Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Canary ve Stafford (1992) tarafından
geliştirilen İlişkileri Sürdürme Stratejileri Ölçeği’nin (İSSÖ) genç
yetişkinlerden oluşan bir örneklemde geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasını
yapmaktır. Araştırma, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nde pedagojik formasyon eğitimi
alan ve Eğitim Fakültesi’nin çeşitli bölümlerine devam eden dördüncü sınıf
öğrencileri olan toplam 352’u kız,126’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 478 öğrenci
ile yürütülmüştür. İSSÖ’nün beş faktörlü yapısı doğrulayıcı faktör analizi
yöntemi ile test edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, İSSÖ’nün beş faktörlü
yapısının doğrulandığını göstermiştir. Ayrıca ölçeğin dil geçerliği de
incelenmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışması, test-tekrar test güvenirlik
katsayısı ve iç tutarlılık katsayısı ile hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar,
İSSÖ’nün genç yetişkinlerde ilişkileri sürdürme stratejilerini değerlendirmek
üzere geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olarak kullanılabileceğini
göstermiştir.
