Otizmli Çocukların Sosyal Becerilerini Geliştirmede Uygulanan Müdahalelerin Etkililiği: Bir Derleme Çalışması

Year 2020, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 28 - 45, 28.06.2020

Abstract

Year 2020, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 28 - 45, 28.06.2020

Abstract

It is very important to identify social skills that become a critical issue for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and to determine effective social skills interventions for teaching these skills. In this study, it is aimed to examine the meta-analysis studies about teaching social skills to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. In order to reach the meta-analysis studies examining the applications made for this purpose, Google Scholar database was used and a total of 8 studies were obtained. The accessed meta-analysis studies were analysed in terms of the topics of the studies, literature review, the year interval examined, the number of subjects and studies examined, the age range of the subjects, the scales used to determine the quality levels of the studies, the type of effect size used, and the effect size level reached. As a result, it was found out that school-based, video model and peer-mediated interventions are widely used and the studies have high effect size level.
