Abstract

Müzik tarihinin en önemli karakterlerinden biri olan Ludwig van Beethoven’ın piyano sonatları, literatürde çok özel bir konuma sahip olan görkemli bir eser serisi oluşturmaktadırlar. Bestecinin 1804-1805 yıllarında yazdığı Op. 57 “Appassionata”, yaratıcılığının orta dönemine aittir ve bu serinin şüphesiz önde gelen örneklerindendir. Bu çalışmada, Beethoven’ın piyano sonatlarına genel bir bakış sunulması, ardından da “Appassionata” adlı eserin incelenmesi ve özellikle yorum açısından önemli görülen noktaların paylaşılması amaçlanmıştır.

Beethoven Op. 57 "Appassionata"

Abstract

The piano sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most significant figures in the entire music history, constitute a magnificent collection, which occupy a particular status in the literature. Op. 57 “Appassionata” (composed 1804-1805, in the middle period of his creative live) surely ranks among the most notable works in this corpus. The aim of this study is – besides presenting an overview of his piano sonatas – to analyse “Appassionata” and, in particular, to share personal thoughts concerning the interpretation.
